Rush and his crew were amazing and made my move so seamless! The 4 of them were in and out of my old apt in 30-40 minutes, took apart my furniture and put it back together in my new place with ease. Last March, due to the COVID pandemic, we temporarily moved out of NYC on short notice. Abreu Movers packed up our entire apartment and put all of our furniture and belongings in storage for us (while we were out of town). Overpriced, 3 people came, they did not have inventory. It is hourly rate and only one person was able to disamble and assemble furniture. Slow, dragged time. So you book for 4 hours and it was 8, because only one person was actually able to work with furniture. Will not recommend. Quality of work was good, no damage of furniture, that why 2 stars.

Jay, Eddie, and the rest of the moving team were so helpful in moving us to our first home! They were courteous and professional every step of the way. We called several moving companies and what we were billed from Abreu Movers was more than reasonable. The receptionist we spoke with at the start of our booking was knowledgeable, patient and explained the total costs upfront from beginning to end and as new homeowners we appreciated that there were no hidden or last minute fees. During the actual move they were careful with our possessions and even helped us tape up some last minute boxes. Eddie took apart and put back our furniture with care. We will be recommending the team at Abreu Movers to all of our family and friends that move in the New York City area!

The staff was very friendly and professional. They were able to accommodate my needs with a moving date almost immediately, which I really appreciated. The movers came earlier than expected, but they did not rush through the job--they took care of every item carefully as if it were their own! When we finished packing up all our stuff they even asked us where we wanted everything put. It felt like an old friend helping me move again rather than just someone doing grunt work for minimum wage because that's what people usually think about when you're hiring movers.

The process was smooth and professional from start to finish. The contacts I had arranging and estimating the move were very friendly, responsive, and available every step of the way. My team on moving day showed up with a smile on their faces ready for work! They took everything in stride- including my tricky stairs which they handled like champs; even though it made things more difficult than usual - what can you do? 🙂 These guys are awesome!

I would not recommend this company for moving. Crew was supposed to be at my place at 12, didn’t get there until 4, so by that time the crew was tired and frustrated. They didn’t like the fact that the place I was moving into had 2 flights of stairs, so instead of being careful they manhandled my furniture. The dining room table, the living room tv stand, the bedroom dresser and my portable fireplace, which were all in mint condition now have scratches all over them, they chipped a huge chunk out of the tv stand. Idk how they have a five star rating. Do not use this company if you value the condition of your furniture.

We cannot praise Abreu Movers enough for how great they did on our recent move! They were always prompt with replying to emails, and the moving crew were amazing! They made sure to protect any fragile items, moved quickly, and told some great jokes. We had an upright piano to be moved along with our other belongings, and they moved the piano with such ease and worked well as a team. We requested the Truck, and are happy to know that a portion of our bill will be donated to Cancer Care. We will definitely be recommending them to anyone we know that is moving, and will use their services again for any future moves we have.

What can I say? Moving itself is stressful. But Abreu Movers made it one of the easiest experiences I've had. I'll be honest, I do not usually use moving companies. My father owned a moving company for years and I worked for him. So I know what I'm doing and I know what to watch for. The crew that moved us was legitimately the best crew I have ever seen work together and exceeded every expectation I had. I will definitely be using them again to move some pieces of furniture and when I move again in 5 years Ã°Å¸Ëœâ€° communication was top notch and they move fast! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable business. Had a last minute move and asked ahead of time if they definitely had the availability as I needed to schedule movers asap. I was assured the had the availability and would "not waste my time if they didn't". I continuously followed up with them to see if they were done "working on my quote" as I needed a booking confirmation asap. Spent two days trying to follow up with them just for them to respond after two days saying "No we are not available and cannot help - sorry." - Horrible customer service and all around terrible business.
